How much do you charge? I work hard to keep my overhead low and my rates affordable for all budget types. In general, you can expect to be quoted from .15 to .25 per word for basic articles, blog posts and web content. Pieces that require interviews or social networking and certain research-intensive ghostwriting projects may be priced higher.
Do you offer discounts? When you order 3 or more pieces I give a 10% discount. I also give a 10% discount for payment in full when the project begins. Lastly, I now offer referral discounts that give you 10% off of one project if you refer someone who ends up completing an order with me of $50 or more.
How can you work with my extremely low budget? In order to accommodate a wide range of budgets, I have created project templates with services that can be scaled back. For instance, if you have a comfortable budget then I can offer you 3 rounds of editing, promotion of the article/blog post I create, responses to blog post comments, submission to article directories and other benefits. If you have a smaller budget I can remove some of those extra services and just create the article/blog post.
Why do you charge more than generalist writers? There are a lot of different answers I could give to this question.
First, I’m not a generalist writer with no personal knowledge or experience with the subject matter. I have worked in many different capacities within the financial industry. I have first-hand experience explaining new investment strategies to insurance agents and financial advisors as well as to clients. Each requires a different approach and I don’t just understand that approach in theory, I’ve done it in-person. I can give your readers something they want to read—something that educates them, entertains them and keeps them interested; something that makes you look good. Because of my experience, you also know that your content is original and multi-dimensional and not simply reworded from a Wikipedia entry. Your content is created out of a decade of hands-on experience, not a quickie attempt to understand complex financial topics.
Second, I do not try to get your projects done, “real-quick-like.” When writers price themselves too low they have no choice but to work very fast in order to get in as much work as they can. I do not do this and, if you want that type of service, I am definitely not the right writer for you. I also hire a third party editor on some projects to ensure that the quality of my work is consistent.
Third, I have a unique voice on my own and spend countless hours developing the right voice for each ghostwriting project. When you hire me to be your mouthpiece, I have a responsibility to you to get your voice right. This can require hours of time invested in reading your emails, marketing materials, and existing content and it may require interviews with you.
What kind of projects do you take on? I take on any writing project you have that is business, finance, marketing or insurance related. I can also work with you on your social networking needs.
